This is June on her last trip to the west coast to see her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. We walked the beach and watched the sun set into the ocean. It didn't seem to be long after this that I found her one day, crying in front of her house because she didn't know where she was. In some of our early conversations she seemed to know that something was happening, and yet had no control over it.
